Hmm, let's see where we've gone from the other day...

The recently separated guy and I are still friends. He ended up calling me that same night. So, we talked about what he was going through, and I gave him my opinion and blahblahblah. I'm "seeing" him, but am not in any hurry to single him out. Once burned and all that jazz. Oddly, I must be going through a married guy phase. They all seem to want to talk to me about whatever, mostly trying to understand what their wife's deal is and such. So, I listen and console and try to keep at least three feet from them.

The best thing to happen is that Kai is home in Philadelphia at the children's hospital. John got a divorce from Kai's incubator and has full custody of her. She's doing so much better now. She's been giving "hi-fives", blowing kisses and repeating small words. She still lists on the left side, but they think she'll improve with therapy. Yay! As far as I know, the incubator didn't even say "good-bye" to Kai. Some people shouldn't be parents. yeesh.

I talked to Jeff the other night. He's suppose to deploy to Iraq at the end of this month. Heaven only knows, as Gabe was supposed to come to Okinawa, but was redirected elsewhere. This will be Jeff's third tour over there. He's saying that he's done when this tour is over. I don't blame him, but hope he knows what he's doing.

I was just thinking about Josh the other day. I have this thing where I think of someone really hard, and they either show up, call or e-mail me. It's nifty and creepy all at once.

It's good to hear about the SoCal Crew. Hopefully, the roommate situation works itself out sans bloodshed. Afterall, it's a pain getting out the stains from the carpet. heh. Jasmine, you look great! I hope you feel as good as you look. Where is Jae? I haven't heard anything on him for a while and am concerned. Someone tell me how Ryan is also. I'm waiting for Briar's most recent pictures.
